1929 Upper Volta Postcard

Hi,

The postcard seems to have been mailed per the postmarks on the face. It has postmarks from the origin and the destination locations however there is no stamp. also, there seems to be no trace of a stamp being stuck on the postcard at all either front or back. Can someone please help to solve the mystery?

Probably gently removed from - or fell off - the area above the addres, I'd guess.

There wouldn't need to be. The marks at the upper right suggest that a stamp may have been placed there.
