@jorgesurci - Thank you for posting your sources earlier. I am a big fan of ABNC and reference "The Engraver's Line" almost daily. These ABNC Index Copy Cards -- where do you access these? Were they only used for stamps/labels or do they exist for banknotes and other products?

@GregAlex - The Index Copy Cards are unique pieces and were made by ABNC to have register of the Dies used along with stamp proof affixed to the Card. Only was made one Card for each stamp.
This Cards also include references to the number of stamps per plate, pre-production material (drawings, photos) and often the name of engravers.

This material came onto the market in the early 1990s when the ABNC archives were auctioned.
At that time a fellow of the Sociedad Filatélica de Chile bought the entire archive of Chile and I have been able to access to it.
In the last 30 years I have also exchange information with other collectors from different countries who have this kind of material.

I don't know if ABNC prepares this Cards for banknotes or for allegorical figures of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture, Trains, Ships, etc. such are those used in stock papers, etc.
I haven't seen them.

Very helpful -- thank you! I would be interested in the Index Copy information for any of the specimen stamps that ABNC produced (like the Rembrandt dummy stamp you posted earlier).
