Captain Stamp, I don't think your postmark of 13 February is Canterbury or Salisbury, because the B would not be at "12 o'clock". My guess would be Edinburgh.

For today: Toronto, Ont - Balmy Beach. 17 February 1933  Balmy Beach is on Lake Ontario in the Beaches area of Toronto, a few kilometers east of downtown. The weather there today is snow with a high of -8C, so not at all balmy. Jan |

Here's another one for today, this one is pretty interesting.  Cancelled on February 17th 1926, from Rydöbruk, a REALLY small place in Sweden. In 2010, there was no more than 388 people living there! I find this cancellation pretty nice. Note that there was probably way less people living there, in 1926.  |
