Basutoland 1c block of 6. Looks like the watermark on the selvedge is sideways. Can't see the watermarks on the stamps clearly. Will appreciate if anyone could help to confirm if it is a sideway watermark. Also is the no.1 printed on the selvedge a plate or block no? Thanks

Yes, the "1" is the plate number and the sideways watermark orientation is normal (as issued).
