Germany 1948 stamp. Could this be a roulette printing. The stamp has vertical lines. Will appreciate all opinions and details about this stamp. Thank you.

This, very clearly, is not a roulette printing but a comb-perforated issue. It is an occupation issue by the allied military government (alllied control council).

Roulette is a style of perforation, not how the lines appear on the back of the stamp. Do you own a stamp catalogue? There is a section of definitions usually in the front.

I believe Asj is asking about the printing method.
These stamps were printed on either rotary printing presses (Walzendruck)
or flat plate (Plattendruck)
Yours is rotary printing

Here is a clip from the Michel Deutschland Spezial Katalog which shows the
sheet selvedges to differentiate between rotary and flat plate printing.
