Newfoundland stamp issued 1897 as per Google lens. The stamp has odd perforations on 2 ends and a trimmes of portion at the other 2 ends. Would appreciate any sort of information and details about this stamp. Thank you.

It is indeed an 1897 Newfoundland issue. Scott/unitrade #64, from the 1897 "cabot" set. I concur with Peter that the stamp has been damaged. (Scott value $6.00 unused, $2.75 used, very fine condition). Newfoundland had its own issues until it finally confederated with Canada in 1949.
