Thank you for this post. I also collect any envelope or wrapper I receive in the mail with a stamp on it (cancelled or not). I seem to get the most stamps and cancels at the end of the year during the holiday season only.

I do like how your organized your list of stamps by its design and how they arrived to you. I want to start doing this as well throughout the year.

My Christmas mail, though an incomplete list:

1 - Christmas Wreath CVP - Computer-Vended Postage (2025)
2 - Holiday Cheer (2025)
1 - Winter Landscapes (2025)
1 - Flag (2025)
1 - Holiday Joy (2024)
1 - Winter Whimsey (2024)
3 - Madonna & Child (2024)
2 - Flag (2024)
1 - Snow Globe (2023)
2 - Flag (2023)
2 - Flags (2022)
2 - Flag (2019) - of which one was obviously counterfeit
1 - Christmas Santa Claus (1979), accompanied by other stamps

Most (including the CVP) had the Happy Holidays Christmas Tree cancellation. Exceptions:
1 - Happy Holidays Christmas Tree cancellation, but it was on the rear of the envelope.
2 - Postmarked with city/date, but no cancellation bars/design.
1 - Standard wavy bars cancellation. (The last of the batch to be delivered.)
