Australian stamps are very nice, but it's not what I collect. ('')Got a bunch of these 1 penny kangaroos, a lot them with identified cancellations. There may well be some nice varieties lurking among these. Should I bother to sell these as a specialist item or is it better to just sell all my Australians together with these kangaroos?

Yes, there are collectors of town cancels that would like that first page of identified towns. That lot would probably attract good interest on ebay as a separate lot by itself rather than bundled with a larger collection. It won't bring big bucks, but it would go to a good home and make someone happy.

Nothing fabulously rare in the datestamps, but both scans combined might do quite well on ebay.

It is Australia #1 after all, and they're endearingly popular stamps

If you want to sell you Australian stamps, I would suggest you offer them separately as Kangaroos, KGV heads, pre-decimal to 1965, decimal 1966-current and back-of-the-book.
