The 75th Rocky Mountain Stamp Show will be held May 8–10, 2026 at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora, Colorado.
This is a milestone year for the show, as we celebrate both the 75th anniversary of the Rocky Mountain Stamp Show and the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood. The organizing committee is planning a full, well-rounded event that should appeal to a wide range of collectors and postal history enthusiasts.
The exhibit area is expected to feature approximately 400 frames, including material from participants in the AAPE-sponsored George Brett Cup Competition as well as exhibits from the Universal Ship Cancellation Society (USCS), who will be joining as a guest organization. Their presence adds a strong naval postal history component to the show, including several open programs on topics ranging from World War II in the Pacific to Desert Storm-era naval operations.
The bourse will include 32 dealer booths along with 13 society and activity booths, providing a good mix of material across collecting interests. As in past years, there will also be a Postcrossing Meetup, which continues to draw both new and experienced participants.
Several additional activities are planned:
* "What's in Your Attic?" booth for evaluating
inherited or dormant collections
* Youth programming through the CYPHER Stamp Club, including Stamp Collecting Merit Badge classes
* Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library Silent Auction, a key fundraiser for this volunteer-run resource
Overall, the show is structured to balance exhibits, dealer activity, educational programming, and community engagement. For those in the region, or considering travel, it should be a substantive event with both depth and accessibility.
