Greetings: I can't find this embossed envelope stamp in my Scott Specialized 2025 and am wondering if one of you may be able to ID it for me?

Thank you

Try U13 and U14. The catalog notes that these have been reprinted on white and buff vertically laid or wove papers. The originals are on diagonally laid paper. They are not known as entires.

PS: You should fix the dates in your topic title.

Thanks for the info Rodcam, I appreciate it!

I am dyslexic, hence the error on the dates in the topic;

Too late for me to edit, so all of you, the dates should read: 1853 - 55;

Sorry for the error.

In further examination of the above pictured Cut Square, I see it is a U16a/U7 since the Label is short, the design color is like that depicted in Scott Specialized 2025 U8, pale green, and the paper is laid buff;

At 1st I thought I saw a break in the separation of the lines of laid paper and thought I had a "Laid Batonne", which would have been very weird, but as you can see in the photo below, the paper is "Laid" w/vertical lines.

A lot of this series was reprinted, but U16 was not included.

Have a GREAT day!!!!
