Back in the day, Farley and the crew at the USPOD signed covers and stamps from shows all over the country. This one from the first day of the 1934 National Stamp Exhibition has me stumped. Farley is easily recognized as well as Charles F. Anderson and Robert E. Fellers. The fourth signature remains a mystery. I spent an hour or more on the web and in my library trying to identify A. J. Brown. Does anyone have a clue as to who he was and why he would he be signing along with other USPOD officials?
