SHOW ME YOUR RED CROSS STAMPS, PLEASE!

Being a nurse, I love the nurse and related stamps! Thanks Dianne for sending me this(along with the large stash of others!)!

Wow, this must be my lucky day! First, I got a 1945 Iwo Jima Raising of the flag FDC ,and a 1948 USS Worcester ships cancel with a 5 cent airmail stamp on it to boot--both from Phil! Now I find out I have a Clara Barton FDC and another nurse item coming in a book from Tom! And it's not even my birthday!

By the way, my birthday is in May!

Thank you, thankyou, thank you--I am so lucky!!

Hi Gussyboy.

I was just entering all my stamps on to a spreadsheet and came across these two.

This one is a bit rough.

Gussy,

Your stamp says "Founded 1864". My stamp says "Centenary 1963", which means it was founded in 1863. Which is correct?

Oh my goodness--speak ,and you shall receive! You guys and gals are just so GREAT!!
I was just showing off my two newest nurse FDC's to a relative visiting from California last night.(BTW, Father Tom--the Scotts specialized catalog and nurse FDC's arrived and are wonderful!Thank you so, so, so very much!). Anyway, I'm explaining to my relatives what my collecting is all about ,and then they started digging and looking at the books and catalog--one of them even bought several post cards with 1909 stamps on them, too! I could see the gleem in their eyes when they got excited--it's like a fever that doesn't make you sick! ha
Thank you too, philb! I don't even have that one yet, and I get so excited when the mail arrives and something in there is from my stamp buddies!

I'm a little late getting my entry in, but here is Germany Scott #865 honoring the centenial of the Interntional and German Red Cross. It was issued May 24th, 1963, has no watermark and Perf 14. It's value is a whopping twenty cents (the Scott minimum).

Great stamps, LaSwabbie! Is that Scott #865 embossed?
And bobggg, your Red Cross stamp...well, she REALLY
needed the RED CROSS services or intervention! So sad that she's gone.
