Nederland - Netherlands 9 June (5c) and 17 June (others) 1927 60th anniversary of the 'vereniging Het Nederlandse Rode Kruis' (The Dutch Red Cross society) NVPH nrs. 203 - 207 The surcharges were collected for the benefit of The Dutch Red Cross society.  2c + 2c, red, King William III 3c + 2c, dark green, Queen Emma 5c + 3c, bluish violet, Prince Hendrik (prince-consort) 7 1/2c + 3 1/2c, ultramarine, Queen Wilhelmina 15c + 5c, blue and red, Red Cross and Doves The stamps remained on sale until 31 July 1927 and remained valid until 31 December 1927. The stamps were line perforated 11 1/2. The 2c and 7 1/2c values also were line perfiorated 11 1/2 x 12. |
