This US stamp was issued in 1931 for the 50th anniv. of the American Red Cross founding.

Centenary of the Red Cross movement, designed by Anna Podzemná-Suchardová, engraved by Ladislav Jirka and issued by Czechoslovakia on June 20, 1963. The Red Cross movement motto on the right: "Per humanitatem ad pacem" means "Through humanity to peace":

Semi-postal engraved stamps, designed and engraved by Pierre Béquet and issued by France on November 26, 1977 to raise donations to the Red Cross:

Stamps show Santons, small hand-painted figurine cast in terracotta or a similar material that is used for building nativity scenes. These particular santons are from Provence, made by Pierre Graille (1915 - 2014) and depicting the tramp and the healer:

Semi-postal stamps, designed and engraved by Jules Piel and issued by France on December 14, 1964 to raise donations to the Red Cross:

- Jean Nicolas Corvisart (1755-1821), personal physician of the Emperor Napoleon I. He was one of the leading French physicians to promote and teach clinical and anatomical medicine and a pioneer of modern cardiology.

- Dominique Larrey (1766-1842), French military surgeon in the service of Napoleon; he introduced field hospitals, ambulance service, and first-aid practices to the battlefield.
