Nells250 - I'm glad you like them, too. I think that fish often make excellent subjects for the engraver's craft. Here is another fish stamp that I admire: Tarpon ( Megalops atlanticus), designed and engraved by Gilbert Aufschneider, and issued by Gabon on July 15, 1964, Scott No. 172. - nethryk |

This post keeps popping up and keeps tempting me to go thematical with fish/ fishing/ fishing lures. Seen a couple ebay lots of 1000 fish related for $40 but not sure if I want to just buy a lot or preverbaly go fishing for specifics. Have a feeling if I start its going to take over for awhile at least. Anyone with a bunch of dups looking for a trade??? |

That Trout is an amazing example. Absolutely stunning. Of course I'm also loving the France Colonies too. |

AnthonyUK - Great looking engraved stamps! Here are images of the front and back of the Pacific Coral Reef pane issued by the USA on January 2, 2004, Scott No. 3831. Images of the ten individual stamps embedded in the pane follow in the succeeding posts. - nethryk |
