Robert,
Where did you hear about the Deegam 5th Edition? It sounds like I may be missing an important blog or website.

The Deegam Reports provide periodic updates. The latest update is from Sept. 2018. Reading it again, it looks like HB5 won't be ready until next year perhaps. Robert |

Wow Robert,
That's quite an undertaking. I'll opt for HB4 along with the archive reports. I'm still happy I bought the HB3. I find it easier to see it on paper and opposed to on a computer screen. Plus my HB3 looks brand new.

All the talk about Deegam I came across the connoisseur album site and after a quick look I downloaded the 11 chapters as PDF's, is this a good resource to have as an interim to getting the Deegam CD.
What are your thoughts on this resource? |

I have used the Connoisseur reference to cross check Adminware. For me a guide needs to assist with identification. From what I recall the Connoisseur was a good reference but not organized in a way to help identification of a specific issue efficiently - not going back to sections. |

Hi, please a little help here. I guess it will be very easy for those who speak English I'm putting headings on my album, and to me, it sounds the same.
2 band, 2 bands, two band, two bands central band, centre band Great Britain Machin stamp, Great Britain Machins Stamps
What is the right way?

thank you
I wonder how many pages of albums we have started and again and again.
We are never happy, and we start again. |

If the seller had not used the word booklet, it would be fine. I do not think the value would be different either way. |

My Deegam's Machin handbook arrived so started looking at it. It is a collection of PDF files with lots of links to navigate to cross references. My initial frustration is if you click a link you cannot go back to the previous file. The only back navigation is clicking a link at the bottom of each file (not all have a clickable link) to go back to the master Index file,. Also, I found pages where the Acrobat search did not work correctly inside file. Much is a learning curve of information organization. It says install on c:\deegam but do not know why since it appears to work in any folder when copied as on CD.
There is definitely a tremendous amount of information and did clear up one aspect already that I could not get clear understanding from adminware web site. |
