Two-man bobsled, designed by C. Alonso [? Argentine painter and draftsman Carlos Alonso (1929- )], printed by lithogravure (De La Rue de Colombia), and issued by Panama on May 7, 1968 as one of six stamps in a set publicizing the 10th Winter Olympic Games in Grenoble, France, Scott No. 484E. nethryk Quote: Minor mystery: Although this stamp has the word "Aereo" printed on it, Scott does not list it as an airmail stamp. There is a note stating that NOS. 484B-484G are airmail, just following the listing. |
