Here are images of the two stamps in a set depicting, respectively, a woman diver, and a woman swimmer at the start of a race, printed by lithography, and issued by Uruguay on February 15, 1958 to publicize the 14th South American Swimming Championships, held in Montevideo, Scott Nos. 628 & 629.

Here are images of the three stamps in a set depicting sporting events: Basketball; discus; and judo, designed and engraved by French artist Gilbert Aufschneider (1927- ), and issued by Burkina Faso (Upper Volta) on April 11, 1963 to publicize the Friendship Games, held in Dakar, Senegal, Scott Nos. 108-110.

Here are images of the six stamps in a set depicting athletes competing in various sporting events: Boxing; diving; high jump; soccer; basketball; and running, designed by French artist Pierre Louis Dekeyser (1914-1984), engraved by Albert Decaris (1901-1988), and issued by Senegal on April 11, 1963 to publicize the Friendship Games, held in Dakar, Scott Nos. 212-17.

Catcher's mask and mitt, and baseball bat, an airmail stamp designed by A. Rojas, printed by photogravure, and issued by Mexico on November 29, 1974 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Mexican Baseball League, Scott No. C436.

Cross country runner, designed by Jean Dandine, engraved by André Frères (1902-1977), and issued by Morocco on March 20, 1966 to publicize the 53rd International Cross Country Championships, held in Rabat, Scott No. 141. Note the improper use of the Olympics rings logo in this stamp's design.

Pole vault, an airmail stamp designed and engraved by French artist Claude Durrens (1921-2003), and issued for use in Wallis & Futuna Islands on October 25, 1971 as one of two stamps in a set publicizing the 4th South Pacific Games, held in Papeete, French Polynesia, Scott No. C37.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting modern Alpine skiing pioneer Mathias Zdarsky (1856-1940), designed by Maria Siegl, combined engraved by Gerhart Schmirl (1942- ) and photogravure, and issued by Austria on June 20, 1990 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the skier's death, Scott No. 1511, plus an image of the photograph of Mathias Zdarsky demonstrating his technique which was the model for this stamp's design.
