Sowing in spring, and harvesting in summer, designed by Swedish graphic artist and illustrator Svenolov Ehrén (1927- ), engraved by Zlatko Jakus, and issued by Sweden on May 7, 1979 as two of a se-tenant strip of five stamps depicting seasonal farming scenes, Scott Nos. 1281 & 1283, Facit Nos. 1078 & 1080.

Chicle is a natural gum that was traditionally used in making chewing gum and other products. It is collected from several species of Mesoamerican trees in the Manilkara genus. Here is an image of a stamp depicting chicleros bleeding a tree for chicle and boiling it to the correct thickness, engraved and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., and issued for use in British Honduras (Belize) on February 14, 1938, Scott No. 116.

Here is an image of an airmail semi-postal (charity) stamp depicting a farm couple, a factory, and a semi-trailer truck, printed by typography (vignette) and engraved (frame), and issued by Cuba on May 7, 1959 to publicize agricultural reform, Scott No. CB1.
