In my dreams, I always imagine there could be this
free energy machine, with a tide of say 15'
surely there is an awful lot of energy going to waste.

Very nice railroad cancel wt1 !

Rod, how is that ship held upright? Why doesn't it fall over from the weight or a good stiff breeze blowing in the rigging? Is it braced somehow I can't see or is it deep in the mud and will float free when the tide comes back in?

Tidal energy is something they are playing at here in the Bay of Fundy. They have these big machines down there under the water. I read I think on Pop Sci site that there was this guy who had a tidal turbine that was about 1-1/2 feet diameter that would cost very little and would not hurt animals and you would just have a lot of them instead of one big fellow. But bureaucracy and government and favours rule over the smart thing to do for the long term.

One of the great mysteries Puzz
I have no idea, well, actually a guess maybe,
chocks on ropes going up the side of the hull
that we cannot see.
The tide going out would assist by rmoving some
sand around the small keel under the weight of the ballast.

It was a regular occurence, so there was some sort of regime
in place, but to me it looks hairy.
You wouldn't want the ship's comapany
to all rush to one side of the ship :)

I will go along with that, looking it up on a map. (Cjd) are you telling me so I recognize the postmark or is Boppy Mount something mysteriously special? I truly don't know.)

FOLLOW UP: Looked it up. Are you talking about the Gold Mine Town?

My knowledge of Boppy Mount is limited to the first couple Google search results...I thought you were looking for assistance with an i.d...re-reading it I see maybe you were looking for a little local color?

I didn't dig deep enough to discover whether Boppy Mount and Mount Boppy are the same place.

no nevermind, I ALWAYS enjoy the conversation. Where I work, I am totally by myself 90% of the time. So talking to myself gets old real fast.

This one may marginally qualify as a "socked on the nose".
