Darnit, I hate when there are two threads almost exactly the same... wouldn't it be nice if there were a way to merge them together? ;-) Here's a few for ya: The incomparable Ella Fitzgerald  Opera singer Enrico Caruso  Freddie Mercury of Queen  Big Band artists - Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Dorsey Brothers, Glenn Miller  Hoagy Carmichael & Johnny Mercer were composers, but also were seen/heard singing their own tunes in films and on the radio  |

In 1996 Bolivia issued a set of 7 stamps honoring the Department (State) of Chuquisaca, in the south central part of the country. One of these stamps features a musician dressed in the regional clothes of Tarabuco playing what appears to be a tupa pinkulla (wind instrument).  |
