Thanks alot everyone - it is very interesting reading and seeing photos of the old packets of stamps. The idea of the bonus stamps if you brought over 10-/ was a good idea. |

Wow I remember those bags! They was red with a gold/yellow cord. I bought mine from the back of a comic book or magazine of some sort. I also remember getting a footlocker chalk full of army men too! lol |

Nice old packets I have a few similar not exactly the same. I get a kick out of what you see on most on them, All Different, All Genuine. I would not care if they wanted to send some rare valuable stamps. Send 20 exactly the same. |

Rod, thanks for the trip down memory lane. I use to love receiving my Seven Seas Stamp packets. I lived in Surrey, England back then, so I'm not sure where they were mailed from. Steve |

Found this packet while rummaging around in an auction lot. The 30 New Taiwan Dollars has since inflated to about $1.04 US. Still would be a good bargain. I'm almost afraid to open this, wondering if I should disturb the contents. Chad |

Here I am sitting and making packs of 500 WW to offer. Just to lay them out in no particular arrangement and take pics of 50 or so at a time I figure 1+ hr per 500. How they ever did a bag full for $1 is crazy especially since the bags sound nicer than the stamps. The more time you take sorting and arranging you really appreciate the minimum catalog values. These places must have had hoppers filled with stamps and I picture a young lad or lass with a scoop and at best a scale. |

Ahh, the Big Bag Of Stamps. Brings back memories of many a drugstore stop to pick up that orange bag. |
