A friend of mine does have a nice collection of "Esperanto" labels (mostly from Egypt, as far as I remember), I'll try have them scanned & then post them here.

Cheers

'bus, if you know, is the Diamond Jubilee set of seven that you showed a complete set, or do the values continue from there? (Seems odd that Vicki would merit the lowest values, only.)

Set of 7. Poorly printed [those I have seen] with some 'values' more expensive than others. With original card the first printing is about $35 a set. Less without.

But only 7.

Let's give some more life to this old thread with two cindies like the ones that were shown on page # 3: 1954 Antarctic Expedition, with perforations (not roulette like the ones already shown here).

A great breath of life by Cursus ! .....very nice examples of the Antarctic Expedition issue. [My year of birth ! ].

So let's add the re-birth of a great Cindy thread........

First up, a 1954 [again!] Royal National Lifeboat issue by Posterstamps Ltd. One of six sheets in this edition. There were previously other sheets issued of different designs. Sold for 2/- towards the Lifeboat fund.
Lovely designs.

A 1949 Proof Marmalade label, unadopted. Very scarce. Full gum.[Morris's of Shrewsbury]

The White Cross "Save Youth from Dope".
I know very little about this one, except it was issued in 1936 or 1946 !

More shortly.......

A very scarce part-sheet of a Montmartre 'Free Commune' issue. A previous sheet had similar designs, in similar colours. Wonderful designs which I still have to research.

A Daily Mail/Evening News Red Cross Fund se-Tenant block of 6. Designed by Frank Brangwyn, printed by The Avenue Press Ltd. 1918.
This is only a part of a larger sheet that is hugely scarce.I had to fight tooth and nail to get this meagre block but it is a treasure !

This next one has all the hallmarks of being out of Bradbury Wilkinson Printers but I have no proof of that. Lovely design of the Peninsula Hotel in Kowloon,Hong Kong still a part of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotel Company [since 1866].
The Hotel appears not to have changed much since the printing of this label !

More to come ?

Londonbus1....Ok then !
