The question regarding engraving was for the Austrian ones... post was too slow, I guess! :-) Those Aussie ones are nifty!

Here is an image of a stamp featuring symbols of various food groups, designed by Jean Van Noten, engraved by Leon Janssens, and issued by Belgium on April 17, 1958 to publicize the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Scott No. 517.

Nells, even though your question was asked a few months ago
here goes.
If you're referring to the local fruit set, they were printed
photogravure.
I believe they were supposed to be the first of a new definitive
series but the feedback from the public wasn't positive
so it wasn't continued.

It's French food. They're fabulous stamps. I had a hard time uploading them because they were so many gigabytes above what's acceptable. I wish I could make them 'close ups'.

ZIPPER - depending on how computer savvy you are, you can crop the main image, etc, and end up with multiple images showing fewer stamps at a time. That way, you can stay within the size limits, but have larger images of the stamps themselves.

Truck farmer carrying basket of produce, printed by photogravure, and issued by Hungary on September 3, 1955 as one of a set of twenty stamps depicting workers designed by Zoltán Nagy and Jozsef Vertel, Scott No. 1116.

Just arrived via postcard... I think those are cocoa beans, and women putting together boxes of chocolates. I looked it up and all I know is it is part of a sheet commemorating the Albert Heijn supermarkets.
