Switzerland Centenary of Teddy Bear booklet May 15,2002 A political cartoon in The Washington Post coined the Teddy Bear name, which originated from an incident during President Theodore Roosevelt's hunting trip in Mississippi in November 1902. Teddy Bear toys soon appeared in the United States and Germany and became an iconic toy for children worldwide. The booklet contains five self-adhesive stamps (die-cut, smooth edges) in the form of picture frames with different shapes.  |
