On October 4, 2005 the UK released a "Smilers" booklet of six designs with self-adhesive gum. These stamps are small format (20.5mm x 24mm). Four of the images had been used previously.

One design, the teddy bear (S.G. #2571), was used for a third time. The other two stamps are shown on page 4 of this thread.

This October 9, 1997, 2.80 mk stamp (Facit #1410) of Finland is from a booklet pane of eight different designs showing 20th century Finnish books. Stamp shows the cover of journalist and children's book author Elina Karjalainen's Uppo-Nalle ja Kumma (1993)/English: Sinker and Weird.

From wikipedia: "The protagonist of many of Karjalainen's books is Uppo-Nalle, a teddy bear who loves poetry."

These teddy bears are style conscious. He has pockets and she has knee patches.

Thus is the famous New Zealand teddy bear stamp which was withdrawn a day after being put on sale. The baby#8310; is sitting the wrong way round. The stamp was reprinted without the teddy bear.
