Fiji Tree Frog (Platymantis vitiensis) is one of the two endemic frog species in Fiji. It lives in moist lowland forests, in particular near streams. It is threatened by habitat loss due to the increase in conversion of native forest to plantations.

Here are 2 different printings of Ireland's 2011 60 euro cent stamp depicting the common frog (Rana temporaria). Both the die cuts and the colors are different on these stamps.

Also in 2011, Ireland issued its 2nd series of 8 "Irish animals and marine life' computer-vended stamps, which included the common frog. The number in the lower right corner shows that this was #381 from the coiled roll of 550 stamps.

The code number 12234 tells you the day the stamp was sold/vended. The 12 is the year, and 234 is the numbered day of the year. So, that day was August 12, 2012.

The natterjack toad (Epidalea calamita) is featured on one stamp of Ireland's 2013 computer-vended set of 8 "Irish animals and marine life" (4th series). In Ireland, the natterjack toad lives in the southwestonly. This nocturnal amphibian is known for its loud mating call.

The code number 14174 means the stamp was sold/vended on the 174th day of 2014, or June 23, 2014. And, it was cancelled on that very day.
