Aussie Al, to answer your question about the 14 cent American Indian. The stamp is from a photograph of "Hollow Horn Bear" a Brule Sioux chief.

I realize that this is an older thread, but on this page, what is the country for the stamp at the upper left in PostmasterGs post showing the winter scene? I am thinking Russian??? And is it really a stamp and not a label?
