Hi to all Are these stamps or Cinderellas. Hutt River for those who do not know is place in Western Australia where a farmer seceded from Australia in the 1970's and set up his own country called Hutt River Principality. The Australian Government does not recognize it, but can do nothing about it. It has its own coinage, stamps and passports. Apparently the early stamps are collectible. I found it in a thrift shop for $2.00 Regards, Horamakhet

The closest Post Office to Hutt river, is Northampton.
The stamps can conceivably prepay routing from Hutt River to Northampton. The stamps would have to be affixed on the back of the cover.

No still looking for one myself. I can send you *.jpg images if you wish.
I bid on an auction lot of Hutt River, what 3 years ago perhaps? there were tens of sheets of each, catalogues, FDC's Because I had heard people snigger when I had bought some before at auction, I thought they would go cheap.
IIRC they were knocked down at somewhere around $430

BTW Hutt River has its own currency, I have coins and banknotes of most values. I'll collect anything... |

I have a near mint condition 1st edition catalogue. Rod, how much do you think it would be worth? Are there later catalogues available? Steve |

Steve, I should think your catalogue would fetch $5 > $10 at a local Perth Auction. If yours is similar to my scanned catalogue it only goes to 1986, but collectors like to have 1 of everything. I don't see them come up very often.
Thanks for the online link Peter

Hi Rwlow0. Welcome to SCF. I have a few of the HRP stamps, but I don't actively collect them. Steve |

Bought a collection a while ago but haven't done anything with them yet. They're quite a novelty. |

Does anyone happen to know if Hutt River issued a FDC with the Issue 2 mini-sheet (4th Anniversary)?
They certainly issued FDC's with single stamps - I have a couple of such covers but have been unable to find one containing the mini-sheet. |
