Don't trust on that. We Catalan People, are not so stupid. Xavi, is just a good, well paid, soccer player nothing else. A cinderella for him? We have got a thousand people who deserves an homage, more than Xavi Hernandez.
And, I must say, that I'm a FC Barcelona supporter! |

It's not that often that we see a genuinely circulated cinderella. That's why when I was offered this card, circulated from Llavorsí, in August 1959, I had to buy it. It bears a cinderella, with the Spanish writting (as, it was compulsory, by then)"Pirineos de Lérida" or Pyrenees of Lleida ("Lérida" in Spanish), showing a roe deer or a chamois (it's hard to say!)on a mountain lake. |

In honor of the athletes who took the arrow along manifestation of our National Day of Catalonia. This cinderella was published in 1935 maybe by "Comité Catalŕ Pro Esport Popular", Catalan Committee for Popular Sport. This organization was the one that presented the project of the Popular Olympics Games of Barcelona of 1936 as an alternative to the 1936 Olympics Games of Hitler's Berlin. |

A most interesting and most rare cincerella. It's the first time that I see it.
And, yes, it reminds me of the athletes that yesterday, carried the Freedom Arrow on the 2 milion people march through Barcelona's Meridiana Avenue, asking for Catalonia's Independence, on our country's National Day. |

To celebrate the results of the past elections of September 27, I think it should be something epic like the following Tubau's cinderella. The legend says "Com fem caure espigues d'or, quan convé seguem cadenes" "As we cut down golden spikes when required we reap chains" |

I'm not sure these two cinderellas come from the Catalan Commitee for Popular Sport, which was formed in early 1936. To me, they look more likely coming from an anarchist organisation, hence the colours black/red of the cinderellas. |
