Catalan Independence cinderella, issued on the 1930's by the party "Nosaltres Sols" (We, alone). The autor was the, for us, well known, artist Lola Anglada. It also says "Homeland and freedom!"

On the 1945-1955 years, the Barcelona's stamp shop of Josep M. Majó issued a sheet of cinderellas showing differnt views of Barcelona.

On the reverese there's an advertisement of the shop, written in Spanish as it was compulsory by then.

I've had this cinderella for a number of years. It wasn't, however, until yesterday, looking at an old poster, that I discovered that it was the work of Alexandre Cardunets (Barcelona, 1871-1944) for the 1920 Barcelona Trade Show.

These photographs, were taken just before the mountain railway leading to Núria was finished by 1931, opening the valley to visitors. It still remains the only turistic place in Catalonia that can't be reached by car. You must leave yours at the Ribes de Freser station parking and take the mountain railway upt to Núria. A very nice experience.
