Here are images of the two airmail stamps in a set depicting Malayan animal chess pieces, designed by French artist and engraver Jean Chesnot, printed by lithography (EDILA), and issued by Djibouti on October 13, 1986 to commemorate the World Chess Championship between Anatoly Karpov and Garry Kasparov, Scott Nos. C225 & C226. Note: Despite the dates inscribed on these stamps, the match was actually played in London and Leningrad (Saint Petersburg) from July 28 to October 8, 1986 (Kasparov won).
