Don,

1950 Studebaker. Voted car of the year. I believe there is a Studebaker convention annually?

Hi Jack,
Yes, the Studebaker Drivers Club is very active, they have an annual meet. http://www.studebakerdriversclub.com/index.asp

We are a drivers club, not a club which restores and trailers cars to meets!

jkelley01938 - My Vic has 183,700 miles, purchased by my boyfriend with about 5,000 miles after being a Ford demo. Has had VERY few issues. It will rot before it stops running, just like my 1998 did. My boyfriend is currently driving an '08 with about 151,000 all-police-use miles. The thing runs and drives great. He bought it to resell soooooooooooooooooooooooo...

;-)

cjpalermo1964 - reminds me of my last place of employment ;-)

Arrows2Atoms - hmmm, is that what YOU have?? ;-)

Stude - we KNEW what you'd post!!! ;-)

Hi Frank,
you know I have no idea

Perhaps any Oz revheads can advise?

The engine, known as the "Barra" (Barramundi) a national fish delicacy.
may be involved.

The BA model received the influential Wheels Car of the Year award, The BA also won four consecutive Australia's Best Cars awards, spanning three years. The model's market share briefly topped that of its chief competitor, the Holden Commodore on two occasions.

Go Ford.

PS: In Australia, it is common parlance, to talk of our motor vehicles using this Alpha code.
"BA Falcon" "AU falcon" "VY commodore" etc etc ... one of most adored vehicles is the 1948 "FX Holden" (modified Chevrolet)
FX coming from a suspension ID
