Here are images of the two stamps in a disabled persons set, printed by photogravure, and issued by Korea (South) on April 20, 1981 to publicize the United Nations' International Year of Disabled Persons, Scott Nos. 1246 & 1247.

The UN General Assembly proclaimed 1981 as the International Year of Disabled Persons (IYDP). It called for a plan of action with an emphasis on equalization of opportunities, rehabilitation and prevention of disabilities.

Louis Braille

Louis Braille (1809 – 1852) was a French educator. He invented braille, a system of reading and writing for use by the blind or visually impaired. The stamp, printed with embossed dots, commemorates the 200th Anniversary of his birth.

"Trapped by Drugs:" Here are images of the two similar stamps in a set depicting a dagger, and a couple caught in a spider's web, designed by French artist Daniel René Gonzague (1930- ), engraved by Jacky Larrivière (1946- ), and issued by Monaco on November 9, 1976 to publicize the fight against drug abuse, Scott Nos. 1045 & 1046.

Bicentenary of the Birth of Louis Braille
November 4, 2009
Louis Braille (1809 - 1852) developed the system that we know today as braille, employing a 6-dot cell and based upon normal spelling. He also went on to lay the foundations of the braille representation of music.
The stamps feature the name and a portrait of Louis Braille, the Vatican City State and the price written in the raised dots of the Braille system.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a physician treating a patient who is quite evidently suffering from a sever belly ache, designed after an antique woodcut, combined engraved by Mario Ramassotto and photogravure, and issued by Italy on June 16, 1979 to publicize the first week of Italy's promotional campaign for the prevention and cure of digestive maladies, Scott No. 1375.
