Hello. I've written that you can't represent LIVING people. Samaranch died two years before the stamp was issued. Regards. |

In fact, they (living persons) MAY be FEATURED, but should NOT be NAMED - there are lots of examples of this, everywhere, including Spain |

You're right. On a 1981 Spanish stamp (Edifil 2617) there's a man holding the Spanish stamp in front of the king. That man (an army officer) was later identified and it's considered to be the first living person to appear on a Spanish stamp. |

Hello. Despite the error of the translator (I don't speak or write English), your message is rather ridiculous in Spanish. Regards and thanks again. |

On his previous post, our Spanish friend wrote "seal" instead of stamp. As the Spanish word for stamp is "sello", he wrote "seal". An understandable mistake. He has already corrected it.
To Roberto: as this an English speaking forum, is your message which looks actually ridiculous. But, I won't waste my time trying to make you understand. I know it's usseless! |
