West Germany issued an annual series of semi-postals where the surcharge went to various welfare charities.

In 1974 the Bundespost started the theme of flowers.

Heinz Schillinger ( 1929 - 2008) a well known German graphic artist,
was the designer of these and many other stamps both for West Germany
and West Berlin. Altogether he designed 400 stamps right up
to 2008.

Michel 818 - 821

Printing via offset/litho by the Bundesdruckerei Berlin

And also the 1974 Christmas stamp.

The 1976 Welfare issue showed regular garden flowers.

Michel 904- 907

Offset/litho by the Bundesdruckerei (Federal Printer) who in my opinion
had no match at that time in printing offset stamps.
