Pretty tulips from Finland:  The scan doesn't do this stamp justice. It's a shiny-ish, sort-of reflective material that just doesn't come through on the scan. |

Almost look like "sea roses", the really thorny types that you see by the ocean... they are very simple and smell very nice! |

Here are images of the two stamps in an exotic flowers set: Rafflesia (most likely, Rafflesia keithii, which flourishes in Borneo), and titan arum ( Amorphophallus titanum), printed by photogravure, and issued by Indonesia on January 17, 1989, Scott Nos. 1376 & 1377. - nethryk   |
