"Anemones," designed after a painting by French Fauvist artist Raoul Dufy (1877-1953), printed by photogravure, and issued by Monaco on April 29, 1968 to publicize the Monte Carlo Floral Exhibition, Scott No. 683, plus an image of Raoul Dufy's original 1937 work of art.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting the Common Climbing Aloe (Aloe ciliaris), designed after a drawing by Monégasque architect and illustrator Étienne Clerissi (1888-1971), engraved by French artist Jean Miermont (1915-1973), and issued by Monaco on May 19, 1964, Scott No. 584, plus a photo.

Both Germany (2011) and Belgium (2013) have issued stamps with a Calla for letters bearing sad news. The white variety of Callas is most often seen at funerals.

Plants of the Genus Helleborus are able to bloom in the middle of winter, making them a favorite for Christmastime. They are called Christ-roses. The stamp is one of the Pro Juventute set for 2002.
