This is my personal favourite!

In June and July of 2005, Spain issued two computer-vended stamps by contemporary Spanish artist Chico Montilla (b. 1961). The stamp depicting the field of sunflowers (Mi. #162), is La Tarde Crece Interminable (The Afternoon is Endless), and the other (Mi. #164) is Las Flores Silvestres (Wildflowers). Montilla's work is handled by Granada Capital Galeria de Arte in Granada, Andalusia.

The image of a daffodil was used by An Post (Ireland) for this stamp (Sc.#1990) commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Irish Cancer Society. Stamp was issued on March 21, 2013. The "N' rate signifies 55c, the domestic rate at the time of issue. The "N" was used because of uncertainty of the rate at the time of printing; it increased to 60c in April.

Ireland started its eleventh definitive issue (wild flowers) in 2004. The high value of the set depicts spring gentian (Gentiana Verna), an alpine plant.

On January 1, 2002 when Finland changed to the use of euro currency, these 10 cent definitive stamps (Facit #s 1595-9) were issued. They depict the national flower, the lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis). Note that on the stamps, the species name is spelled with two L's (majallis).
