And, here are the 2015 stamps from Latvia's 2014-19 "Flowers" definitive series. The .10, .25, .70, .78, and 2.13 euro stamps (new values) were issued on January 9, 2015. The .01, .04, and .07 values (reprints) were issued on May 5, 2015. The tagging is the same as on the 2014 stamps.

Here is the 5 euro value (Hib.# D306) from Ireland's 2004-8 "Wild Flowers" definitive series. Stamp depicts the dog rose (Rosa canina). Stamp was issued on September 9, 2004.

Here are two more stamps from Ireland's eleventh definitive series (native wild flowers). The one euro stamp (Hib #D304, Sc #1654) depicts common foxglove (Digitalis purpurea). This stamp was issued on February 20, 2006. Regarding foxglove, wikipedia says, "The use of Digitalis purpurea extract containing cardiac glycosides for the treatment of heart conditions was first described in the English-speaking medical literature by William Withering in 1785, which is considered the beginning of modern therapeutics."

The two euro stamp (Hib #D305, Sc #1568) shows lords-and-ladies (Arum maculatum), including its poisonous red berries.

On January 25, 2010 Finland issued this oddly-shaped, die-cut booklet stamp (Sc #1346) depicting a catsfoot (Antennaria dioica). 700,000 of the booklets of 10 were issued.

The Gerbera, or Transvaal Daisy, is an ornamental plant belonging to the sunflower family (Asteraceae). It was named in honor of German botanist Traugott Gerber and originates from the Transvaal region of South Africa.
