I wonder if there will ever be another Columbus stamp issued. In the US, at least, it is becoming controversial ("politically incorrect") to celebrate Columbus Day. But for now, happy Columbus Day! |

Vicente & Martin Pinzón Series: Discovery of America Catalog codes: Mi: ES 2804, Yt: ES 2538, Edi: ES 2924 Issued on: 1987-10-30 Perforation: comb 12¾ x 13¼ Size: 50 x 29 mm Face value: 65 Pta Print run: 5,500,000 The Spanish PTT sure went to town on the 500th Anniversary, but at least they were a party to the event.
