That used stamp is a nice item.

At the time, I only sent one request for a sheet in, and, unfortunately, I was unsuccessful. I still have my rejection letter, however. I guess that can now be a postal history collectible for the future.

I, too had heard back then that the packaging material is not archival. So I immediately opened the blue packaging and put the sheet in a proper storage. I realize that hurts the value some, although I did keep the original package in my collection in a separate place.

I came across 2 sheets of stamps my father gave me years ago. One was the Recalled Sheet of the Legends of the West (in the blue folder) and one was the Correct Sheet of the Legends of the West. I am interested in finding someone who would appreciate having this in their collection and would like to sell them.

If nobody offers you anything on this site, try ebay. You might want to package them together because it might be difficult to offload the "correct sheet" by itself.

Lots of those on ebay now, 86.00 on up. But if you look at the sold listing over the past month they go from the mid 50.00 price range on up...
