I don't collect China, but I have picked up a few items along the way. This early airmail cover

always makes me squirm. I won it at auction years ago, without meaning to. I entered my bid with the right Lot number - the only problem was that I was looking at the previous auction catalogue. Very embarrassing when the auctioneers pointed out my mistake to me, in response to my angry letter.

Thanks, beijing2008_zhang! From memory, I think I paid around £100 for this cover. I think I'll have to hold onto it for a few more years, then.

Found this Double Registered cover from 1925. No postage. Probably removed by prior owner. Postmarked July to August 1925. Date in July is either 6th or 16th. Cancel in August on the 8th and the 10th in San Francisco leads me to believe the July postmark date is the 16th. No questions about the cover. Just thought I'd post it.
