Around 100, of which about half are from the French area and a dozen from the Commonwealth. Should go down as I get rid of material. I've disposed of most of my individual albums of continental Europe and the Americas over the last few months.

I have:

1) Russia: Russian Empire to 1991 (end USSR) in 16 x 22-ring red albums in slipcases - these use my own designed www.ruskystamps.com illustrated pages (880 pages)

2) GB: - Penny Black to 1952 in a SG hingeless Windsor springback album with slipcase

3) Canada: First issue to 20000 in 4 Lighthouse hingeless albums with slipcases

4) Romania: First issue to 1969 in Schaubek album (a work in progress)

4) Ottoman Turkey: On specialist PDF pages I bought online

I then have thousands of duplicates (e.g. I have 16 x 64 page stockbooks of just Russia stamps), also Hagner pages and about 20 other ringbinder type binders with banknotes, covers, odds, sheets, etc.

I just re-read, quickly, the entire thread. I replied in Dec., 2016 about the size of my collection. It's a bit smaller now since I've been downsizing my world wide collection.

The original poster, Cardinal Bass, asked a second question about plans for disposing of collections after one is gone. I think this is an important topic. I re-did my estate plan early this year. All my philatelic holdings will go to the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library to support their mission. An amount of cash will go to the APS & APRL.
