Yes, I was aware of that regarding Ramsey. Went there once for a party.

Ahh, I do like that name, Manomin. It means, "People of the (Wild) Rice".

Finally decided on a relatively uniform format for my county header pages.

Here is my initial prototype for a page. The final draft looks a little different.

To call the postmark a fancy duplex is an understatement. It's a fantastic county cancel with sawtoothed circle and star in a circle killer. I collect county and postmaster cancels from both NYS (425 out of 600 in my collection) and Vermont (12 out of 34 in my collection). A very interesting subject and lots of room for growth from most states.

My Vermont material is online: http://www.vermontps.org/CountyPost...tmaster.html

Minnesota has a daunting 87 counties. I have less than ten county cancels, but I am still a beginner.

I must say, you do have a lovely collection.

I will sing praises for Jim Forte's PO list, but add that many of the lettered and numbers stations from the large cities are yet unlisted as are most of the contract stations.

These are all listed, but just a few I could easily find tonight:
Orr, Buyck Rur Sta
Minneapolis, Powderhorn Sta
Duluth, Civic Certer Sta
and a DPO of Ah-Gwah-Ching from Jan 1993 before it closed in 1994.
