The Jerez Vendimia harvest festival takes place over one week, officially starting on September 8, the feast day of the Nativity of Our Lady. The first grapes may be picked a week or two early, especially if the weather has been suitably dry and sunny. Here is an image of a stamp depicting two women picking grapes for the festival, printed by photogravure, and issued by Spain on September 20, 1984, Scott No. 2391, plus a YouTube link to a short promotional video about this year's Jerez Vendimia. Cheers!
