I've had some folks beta testing the new version of my album page software, and I think it's ready for the general public. Here's a link to the YouTube demo. Make it full screen and switch to HD to get the best view. If you're interested in trying it out, shoot me an e-mail or PM with your e-mail address so I can send you the file. It requires Publisher 2007 or 2010, and if you're going to use the batch import feature, Excel 2007 or 2010. To those who try it out, please let me know if you find any bugs or have suggestions for improvement, new features, etc. UPDATE: On second thought, it's just easier to upload and link it. Let's hear some feedback. UPDATE: Version 1.2.

A couple notes from feedback I've received:
There's an issue with the digital certificate I used that requires you to enable all macros. This is fixed, and will be in the next version update (v1.2) which I expect to upload within a day or two.
The Excel file is a template, so open it, "Save As", then type away. Alternatively, when you double click to open it, it should open as a separate file with a slightly different name as the original template.
The Publisher file is not a template. Currently, the macro is tied to the file (pmgs_sapg_1-1.pub), so you'll need to build your pages then "Save As", or just make a copy of the original file for each separate publication you want to make. In the near future, I hope to deploy the macros as a Publisher add-in so it'll be usable in any existing Publisher file. |

Please tell me you're making use of this for your own collection as well. |

I built my first page with it a couple days ago. It definitely makes it easier, though if I can get it converted to an add-in it'll be 10x easier. UPDATE: First page I used it for. |

Really like the border ... do you insert that as a separate graphic element? |

I have that as a separate graphic that I insert into the master page. I built it in PowerPoint using an old corner design from a long-lost source, then drawing in the connecting lines. The corner is posted on another thread of mine around here somewhere (I think it was an album page thread) if you want it.
And BTW, I'm going to try to add some simple borders to a future version of the software. |

Ok, when I run the script, it doesn't seem to be centering the stamp box and image: When I manually center everything, it looks like this. |

Maybe it's my eyes, but those look the same to me. In which direction is it off? |

Nevermind, it's slighly left. Can you post a screenshot of what settings you were using? |

FYI, barring a major bug being found, the next major version will be a Publisher add-in that will work globally across all Publisher documents. I've also added the ability to insert some basic page borders. |
