Poland issued two sets of Regional Costumes stamps in 1959 & 1960 which was the change-over point between the "lets fleece collectors by blocking certain stamps to increase their value" era, & the "lets fleece collectors by issuing copious quantities of thematics, perf AND imperf, in stamp & mini-sheet format" era. Funnily enough the 50's era material still has some value whereas you can't give the 60's-70's stuff away.

The Hadendoa ("Hadendowa") are a nomadic subdivision of the Beja people whose elaborate hairdressing gained them the nickname of "Fuzzy-wuzzies" among the British troops during the Mahdist War (1881-99). Here is an image of a stamp depicting a Hadendoa man, designed by Col. W.L. Atkinson, printed by typography (letterpress) by Thomas De La Rue & Co., Ltd., and issued for use in Sudan on September 1, 1951, Scott No. 103, plus an image of a photo of a Hadendoa nomad, and a link to a webpage featuring Rudyard Kipling's famous poem Fuzzy Wuzzy (1892), a stirring tribute to the martial qualities of the Hadendoa warriors: http://allpoetry.com/Fuzzy-Wuzzy

A dirndl is a type of traditional dress worn in southern Germany, Liechtenstein and Austria, based on the historical costume of Alpine peasants. Dresses that are loosely based on the dirndl are known as Landhausmode.
