CJD: unfortunately I don't own an ST/P stamp with the Ajuda fort cancel. I know of the issuances by the Fort because there was an article in Portu-Info some years ago. I checked about 15 years worth of journals (I've been an ISPP member for 22 years) and could not find the article. If you do look for it in your material, look for the Portuguese name of the fort that I quoted above. You may want to do that anyway, to search for the Ilha do Principe cancel. I have maybe 300 ST/P stamps; including duplicates; but only three of them used on Principe.
Sorry I can't be of more help. |

Mine would be the Republic of Central Lithuania. This short lived republic only ever issued around 50 or so stamps. Most of them have a fairly low catalogue value, but for some reason I am unable to find them. My collection of Central Lithuania consists of exactly one stamp. |

Panama revenues (especially classic period)
Cover the World (cover from every postal authority in the world as best I can on my limited budget). |

Central Lithuania is actually quite easy to find cheaply on ebay... at least mint anyway. Now used stamps, that is another thing! |

I auction some Central Lituania stamps here in 2011. I looked at the past auctions thread and yes they were mint. Didn't remember that. Only Rod bid on them and got them. I wonder what's happening with him now he hasn't post for a long time.
I'm not collecting Zanzibar anymore and sold it but I remember the many cto's I had for the 60's and 70's. Maybe it's hard to get postaly use stamps. The french operate a post office in Zanzibar from 1894 to 1904. Some of the stamps are very rare and expensive. |
