Hey there guys. Been working hard at listing. Picked up two albums from an old lady in Washington. They are from a-b about forty countries in all. I have put them up. Or at least the ones with a few pages. I think I revamped my store a lot. Still nothing selling. I put most of them up starting at half the catalog value. Is that realistic??

Over pricing your stamps and using the word "rare" won't get your stamps sold at a higher price.
Spamming at every philately group you can find doesn't help either. Especially when the stamps advertised are not related to the group at all.
It just annoys people that read them.

If a group does not want me advertising there all they have to do is ask and I will kindly remove myself. Facebook and Twitter in my opinion are social media outlets with one of the purposes being to promote.

As for rare. I barely use it unless I do think it is rare. But mostly I don't.
Thank you for the advice.

Half price of catalogue is too high.

Rare and even scarce should generally not be used. Can you find the stamps readily on ebay? If so, not rare/scarce.

Better to use MH (mint hinged) or unused. Mint should be reserved for never hinged but sadly is a commonly used term.

What do others think? Unused or MLH/MH

Thanks. I think MH is the best bet. Will try that.
